THE PROCESS
The sharp morning cold, the wait for the right light, the roads it takes to get there. What pulls me in is never the result, but the process behind the frame.
It usually starts with a sound, a small moment. I sketch, I write, and a scattered idea slowly becomes a plan. Then comes the thrill of making it real, the one thing that has kept me going for years.
Traveling, staying curious, being on the road; these aren't part of my work, they're part of me. I've spent years absorbing the raw beauty of nature, then carrying it into my own stories or the ones entrusted to me.
A traveler's curiosity and a director's discipline live in the same frame in me. What I'm after never changes: a moment that makes you feel like you were really there.
